THE ARC SULLIVAN-ORANGE AWARDED $15,000 IN GRANTS FROM NYSARC TRUST SERVICES

Monticello, NY January 20, 2020: The Arc Sullivan-Orange Counties, a not-for-profit organization supporting people with disabilities in Sullivan & Orange Counties, has been award $15,000 in grants from the Trustee Management Board of NYSARC Trust Services to support The Arc Sullivan-Orange’s recreation programs.

NYSARC Trust Services administers supplemental needs trusts (SNT) that can make dramatic improvements to the lives of people with disabilities while enabling individuals to maintain eligibility for public benefits programs, such as Medicaid and SSI. For 2019, NYSARC Trust Services is proud to fulfill its commitment to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities by awarding a total $2,933,000 in grants to The Arc New York Chapters statewide.

NYSARC Trust Services awarded The Arc Sullivan-Orange $15,000 to support new recreational opportunities and enrich the lives of the individuals it serves. The Arc Sullivan-Orange plans to use the recreation grants funds to offset a recreation program in Orange County that provides services to people that don’t qualify for the typical respite programs.
