The Residential Behavioral Health Specialist will provide specialized support to individuals with complex needs residing in residential facilities operated by The Arc Greater Hudson Valley. Assist with and monitor required documentation as required by ACCES-VR and outlined in the Core Rehabilitation Services (CRS 2.0) Guidelines. Prepare and set up new case paperwork. Organize and file appropriate reports, notes, plans and service documentation. Archive closed case files. Faxing and scanning documentation as needed. Answer office phones, screen calls, take messages, and make appointment and type any necessary correspondence. Complete all invoices for services and commodities. Monitor and report weekly on status of plan reviews, units of services and monthly notes across all services, using the EMR. Perform other work-related duties as requested by the supervisor. Provide structured, recreational, community-based program for children in our School Vacation Respite Program. The counselor will pick up, drop off, supervise, and assist up to five children on outings during the summer months.

Salary: $17.50/hr, Mon-Fri 8am-4pm (June 29th-Aug 29th) plus 2 weeks of paid mandatory training in May or June

you will offer short-term overnight care in your home for children who need a temporary, safe and nurturing environment outside their primary residence. This is a flexible, on-call position and an important support service for families in our community in need of respite.

Qualifications: Provide safe, overnight care for a child in your home. Communicate with agency staff and attend required check-ins. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a private, furnished bedroom available exclusively for respite use. Must pass a fingerprinting and criminal background check. Home must meet health, safety, and accessibility standards. Completion of all OMH-required training prior to providing care. Previous experience working with children or in human services is a plus. Follow all OMH guidelines and protocols for respite care.

Ensure treatment as prescribed is carried out through both program staff & the nursing department. Annual Salary - $81,997.50 year

The Registered Nurse Educator is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for frontline staff providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role focuses on equipping staff with the knowledge and skills necessary for understanding and providing hands-on care for medical conditions. The Registered Nurse Educator collaborates with the Training Department and other service departments to design and implement trainings that meet agency needs and ensure high-quality, safe, and compliant service delivery. Trainings are to be provided in Dutchess, Orange and Sullivan Counties.

Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State. Experience with OPWDD regulatory requirements. Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At least one year of experience in training, teaching, or staff development preferred. Valid NYS driver’s license and proof of personal auto insurance. Completion of all required agency training, including orientation, First Aid/CPR, and any relevant certifications. Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and medical care for individuals with developmental disabilities. Excellent presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Salary: $31.60/hr 40 hr/wk Schedule flexibility based on needs of PVI

Responsible for performing counseling, capacity and psychological evaluations and developing and providing clinically appropriate treatment plans to people supported.

Qualifications: Master’s Degree in a clinical and/or treatment field of psychology with training in assessment techniques and behavioral program development. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Must be proficient in the use of EHR systems as well as spreadsheets for data tracking & analysis. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position has the potential to provide coverage in Dutchess, Orange, and Sullivan counties, but is based out of Dutchess County office.
