Residential - Sullivan/Orange

  • The Program Manager will ensure that the services provided within their program(s) are in keeping with the standards established by the agency and the department. They must have an understanding of and commitment to the values of the organization, respecting individuals supported, their families, and the mission of the agency. They shall provide for the safety, health, and welfare of the individuals supported.

Day Program - Sullivan/Orange

  • The Specialist will be responsible for enhancing person-centered activities that promote meaningful engagement, personal fulfillment, and community inclusion for individuals supported in the Day Habilitation program. The role emphasizes fostering social capital, expanding community connections, and supporting individuals in achieving their desired outcomes. Activities will be guided by individual preference and Personal Outcome Measures (POM) interview results to ensure alignment with each individual’s goals and interests. The Specialist will coordinate special events, facilitate creative programming, and collaborate with community organizations to create inclusive opportunities for meaningful participation.

    3+ years working with people with disabilities, advance education in place of experience in the field acceptable. Basic English language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and knowing arithmetic and mathematical concepts with which to adequately and effectively perform job duties and responsibilities. Ability to negotiate, exercise leadership, work with a diverse population, teach new skills, serve individuals, and participate as a team member. Ability to understand, interpret, convey, and implement instructions and directions. Must be able to travel between sites within the county

  • To provide ongoing supervision and support to assigned staff, and to ensure provision of quality services to program participants. Quality services are defined by each person and should reflect both needs and wants, as well as essential supports with activities of daily living and community life. Services must be delivered in a person-centered manner, reflecting individual choice, exploration of opportunities and interests, and the maintenance and development of important relationships.

    At least one year experience working directly with DD individuals. Must have High School Diploma or GED, will consider higher education in place of experience in the field

Quality Assurance & Quality Improvement - Sullivan/Orange

  • Assist the Director of Corporate Compliance in the ongoing monitoring and oversight of the agency’s Compliance Program by monitoring trends in reported compliance violations, internal review findings, survey citations, third party audit results, billing adjustments and self-disclosures. Conduct internal audits in to all assigned programs on an annual basis. Primarily in Orange/Sullivan Counties with possible travel to Dutchess County.

    BA Preferred (preferably Human Services) Associates Degree Accepted (preferably Human Services) HS diploma with relevant skills and experience in the field will be considered. Strong writing/typing, computer skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft suite. Experience in OPWDD waiver programs/regulations.

    $20.92/hr – 20hrs/week

  • Provide quality supports for people to gain and maintain meaningful employment, in order to become equal and contributing members of the business community.

    Responsible for the provision of evidence based supports, accurate assessments, job task analysis, development of positive work habits/workplace behavior, to the people we support, both before and during paid employment. This takes place in workplaces, classroom settings and a variety of other locations as appropriate to individual needs.

    Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED required.

    Prior experience working directly with persons with developmental disabilities preferred. Ability to anticipate needs of individuals being served and to respond quickly and skillfully in emergencies.   • you will offer short-term overnight care in your home for children who need a temporary, safe and nurturing environment outside their primary residence. This is a flexible, on-call position and an important support service for families in our community in need of respite.

    Qualifications: Provide safe, overnight care for a child in your home. Communicate with agency staff and attend required check-ins. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a private, furnished bedroom available exclusively for respite use. Must pass a fingerprinting and criminal background check. Home must meet health, safety, and accessibility standards.   • The BIS possesses a master's degree in a clinical or treatment field of
    psychology, applied psychology, school psychology, social work or another related approved field and documented training in assessment techniques and behavior support plan development. They are responsible for development and/or revision of behavior and monitoring plans as required by regulation including training staff on the plans and
    protocols for people supported. The BIS may also be asked to provide supervision to behavior techs.

    Master's Degree in a clinical or treatment field of Psychology, Applied Psychology, School Psychology, Social Work or another related approved field and documented training in assessment techniques and behavior support plan
    development or a national board certification in behavior analysis (BCBA) or a NYS license as a Behavior Analyst (LBA) or a NYS license in Mental Health Counseling. Valid New York State Driver License. Minimum three years'

  • Provide services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.   • The Certified Occupational Therapist will provide direct and/or indirect occupational therapy services while working closely with other members of the department to train staff and family members to maximize supports provided to the people we provide services to. They may also be asked to supervise certified occupational therapist assistants.     Qualifications: The Certified Occupational Therapist possesses a degree from an accredited OT program and NYSED professional license or is eligible to receive a NYSED license as an occupational therapist It is expected that the Occupational Therapist be proficient in the use of EHR systems and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with people with ID/DD preferred.

  • The Driver has the primary responsibility for ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the people we support in transport. It is also the role of the Driver to guarantee that the bus/vehicle is clean and in proper working condition at all times; determine and follow safe and efficient bus routes; ensure all people are in appropriate safety restraints; assist in ensuring staff ratio is maintained on the bus; maintain all transportation records required by the program; and, evacuate passengers in case of emergency and ensure the passengers are vacated from the bus at the end of the trip.
